Weaving Connection

Being vulnerable doesn't come easy to most people, as we live within oppressive social systems that are hierarchal, at times forcing us to be dishonest so we can survive among the illusion of scarcity and competition.

Operating from the fear of our needs not being met puts us into survival mode growing up as children within our families, the school system, and then entering the work force.

So is it really any wonder why as adults we struggle to have healthy and harmonious relationships with ourselves and others when all we've known is hiding our true self from ourselves and others?

Does it really come as a shock that we lack a framework for boundaries and consent and a vocabulary for our feelings and needs when we were never given the tools or the ability to develop healthy communication skills?

This active, participatory 2-hour workshop hosted online over Zoom is open to all people who have the desire to connect with themselves and the people in their lives in a more honest & intimate way.

What will be covered:

  • Understand & honor your personal boundaries

  • Establish boundaries with others with kindness & respect

  • How to be a compassionate listener

  • Why we manipulate & people-please

  • Observations vs judgements

  • Feelings vs thoughts

  • Needs vs strategies

  • Requests vs demands

  • Giving vs receiving

  • & more!
